Secs — free online timer, Pomodoro, alarm & stopwatch
Secs is a minimal, distraction-free productivity timer that runs entirely in your browser. Use it as a Pomodoro timer, countdown timer, alarm clock, lap stopwatch, or world clock — all in one app. No account, no ads, works offline.
Online countdown timer
Set any duration and press start — Secs counts down with a calm, full-screen circular display. Preset durations of 5, 10, 15, 25, 45 and 60 minutes let you begin instantly. Need something else? Click the dial to type any time, tap the +/− buttons to adjust by a minute, or enter a fully custom value. Pause, resume, or reset at any point. A Zen focus mode hides all controls so only the time remains visible.
Pomodoro timer with focus & break modes
The Pomodoro Technique divides work into focused sprints separated by short breaks. Secs has three built-in modes: Focus (25 minutes), Short Break (5 minutes), and Long Break (15 minutes) — all adjustable in Settings. Every completed focus session is saved to your local activity log with a weekly bar chart, so you can see your total focused time today, this week, and over time. Enable Auto-start breaks in Settings and Secs will automatically roll into a break when a focus session ends.
Alarm clock in your browser
Create unlimited alarms with custom labels, select a sound (Crystal Bell, Rising Gong, or Digital Beep), and set a repeat pattern: once, daily, weekdays, or weekends. Alarms fire even while you are using the timer or stopwatch. A 5-minute snooze button and an auto-snooze timer let you rest without missing your alarm. Everything is stored locally in your browser — nothing is sent to a server.
Stopwatch with lap & split tracking
Time anything to the millisecond. The stopwatch records laps and cumulative splits, automatically highlights the fastest and slowest laps in green and red, and shows your average lap time. Keyboard shortcuts: Space to start/stop, L to record a lap, R to reset. Session data persists across page reloads.
World clock & time zones
Add cities from anywhere in the world to track their local time alongside yours. A large hero clock shows your primary location with a day/night gradient. Supports 12-hour and 24-hour formats, optional seconds display, and shows relative offsets like +3H or −8H. Perfect for remote teams, international scheduling, and travel planning.
